Improve water intake in cats

Many cats do not make drinking obvious. That is why small improvements in setup can matter.

What often helps

Try:

• several water spots
• bowls away from the litter box
• wide, low bowls
• combining moisture-rich feeding with fresh water access

These changes are simple and often useful.

What gets in the way

Drinking may stay low when:

• water is placed in only one busy area
• bowls are too narrow or poorly cleaned
• feeding setup discourages fluid intake overall

The issue is often environment, not stubbornness.
